Originally from Colombia, I’m now based in Toronto, where I’ve spent over a decade mastering the art of communication, marketing, and design. My Journey in Communication & Design
I’ve always had a deep interest in storytelling and how ideas can be communicated effectively. After earning my degree in Social Communication and Journalism in 2011, I started my career as a journalist, working in both digital and traditional media. Over the years, my love for communication expanded into digital marketing, where I found my true calling: helping businesses convey their message in ways that resonate visually.
Working in advertising agencies, government entities, and media outlets gave me a solid foundation in designing content that speaks to different audiences. I created infographics, visual reports, social media campaigns, and email marketing strategies that helped brands grow and connect with their target market. But despite the variety of roles I’ve held, there’s one thing that always stands out: my passion for presentations.
I became known as “the presentation guy” in every team I worked with. From small business owners to large corporations, everyone needed someone to help them craft presentations that didn’t just convey information, but told a compelling story. That’s when I realized that presentation design was not just a job for me, it was my calling. In 2021, I decided to take the leap and start my own freelance business. And so, MrPPT was born.
